Oasis is a New York City region Christian singles gathering.
These events provide opportunities for fellowship, praise and inspiration.
7- 8:30 PM Sunday, April 11, 2021
You’re invited to join Christian singles on their laptops, PC’s and cellphones for a fun evening of discussion, prayer and laughter.
Topic: “Enjoying Everyday in Christ.”
Are you enjoying everyday in Christ or are you worn out from “battle fatigue”? Did you know that Believers are engaged in a daily spiritual battle against the world, the flesh and the devil? The good news is we aren’t fighting for victory but from a place of victory. Jesus won the victory for us on the cross. The spiritual battle is for control. You will either allow the enemy or God to control your life. Let’s talk about this battle and why it’s so important to put on the full armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the strategies of the devil. Jesus died for us to experience an abundant life through Him.
“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Cor. 10:3-5

The theme of this site points to the only relationship that gives eternal fulfillment:
“As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving… in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power” (Col. 2:6-10)
We invite you to attend Oasis and find spiritual guidance in these pages.
The Christian life is an exchanged life: Jesus’ life for your life. When Christ takes control, your life takes on dimensions you would never have known apart from Him. When you are weak, then Christ demonstrates His strength in your life (2 Cor. 12:9-10). When you face situations that are beyond your comprehension, you have only to ask, and the infinite wisdom God is available to you (James 1:5). When you are faced with humanly impossible situations, God does the impossible (Luke 18:27). When you encounter people whom you find difficult to love, God expresses His unconditional love through you (1 John 4:7). When you are at a loss as to what you should pray for someone, the Spirit will guide you in your prayer life (Rom. 8:16). When Christ takes up residence in the life of a believer, “all fullness of God” is available to that person (Eph. 3:19).
It is marvelously freeing to know that God controls your life and knows what it can become. Rather than constantly worrying about what you will face, your great challenge is to continually release every area of your life to God’s control. The temptation will be to try to do by yourself what only God can do. Our assignment is to “abide in the vine” and to allow God to do in through us what only He can do (John 15:5). Only God can be God. Allow Him to live out His divine life through you. He is only One who can.
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 (NIV)
