OASIS CHRISTIAN SINGLES ZOOM EVENT
THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14th 2021

Meeting 7pm-8:30pm, Fun Fellowship 8:30pm-10pm

The Oasis Christian Singles Ministry (CompleteinChrist.com) invites you to join Christian singles on their laptops, PC’s and cellphones for a fun evening of discussion, prayer and laughter.

Topic: “Sons and Daughters of the Most High God”

Since 1997 my desire has been to gather singles of all ages, from all denominations, and from walks of life from throughout the tri state area to worship and fellowship together. I never wanted the focus to be on singleness but rather on Sonship and our new identity in Christ. I share the beautiful truths God used to set me free from OCD and panic attacks (Lifetime.org). After all, freedom in Christ is our birthright as children of God. This teaching and discipling ministry has always had a much higher calling than just singles events. We host family gatherings of the sons and daughters of the Most High God.

Please join us for this special Thanksgiving Zoom Event as we celebrate all that we have as joint heirs with Christ. Our created purpose is to live forever as beloved children of God (Fathersloveletter.com). As with each meeting we will have a time of listening prayer to allow the Holy Spirit to speak to each heart and reveal lies they may have been believing about God, themselves or life.

This event will be the first of three as we prepare our hearts for the Holy season. Bring your Thanksgiving jokes and your favorite childhood tv shows to talk about during our uplifting fellowship time. Laughter is the best medicine!

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” 1 John 3:1

Please plan now to attend our other two holiday events:

Christmas Zoom Celebration, Sunday, Dec. 12th.
Meeting 7pm-8:30pm. Fellowship 8:30pm-10pm.

Donna Steadman of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir will lead us in our favorite Christmas carols. What would a Christmas celebration be without ugly Christmas sweaters, santa and elves hats, and whatever you want to wear! Bring your Christmas jokes and favorite Christmas movies to talk about during our fun fellowship.

New Years Eve Zoom Celebration, Friday Dec. 31st
A Night of Testimonies 7pm-8:30pm. Fellowship 8:30pm-1pm.

We invite you to purchase the devotional 25 Days of Advent by Dr. Kenneth Boa to help you turn your focus from the worldliness of Christmas back to Christ Himself (abebooks.com).

The theme of this site points to the only relationship that gives eternal fulfillment:

“As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving… in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power” (Col. 2:6-10)

We invite you to attend Oasis and find spiritual guidance in these pages.

Consider this:

The Christian life is an exchanged life: Jesus’ life for your life. When Christ takes control, your life takes on dimensions you would never have known apart from Him. When you are weak, then Christ demonstrates His strength in your life (2 Cor. 12:9-10). When you face situations that are beyond your comprehension, you have only to ask, and the infinite wisdom God is available to you (James 1:5). When you are faced with humanly impossible situations, God does the impossible (Luke 18:27). When you encounter people whom you find difficult to love, God expresses His unconditional love through you (1 John 4:7). When you are at a loss as to what you should pray for someone, the Spirit will guide you in your prayer life (Rom. 8:16). When Christ takes up residence in the life of a believer, “all fullness of God” is available to that person (Eph. 3:19).

It is marvelously freeing to know that God controls your life and knows what it can become. Rather than constantly worrying about what you will face, your great challenge is to continually release every area of your life to God’s control. The temptation will be to try to do by yourself what only God can do. Our assignment is to “abide in the vine” and to allow God to do in through us what only He can do (John 15:5). Only God can be God. Allow Him to live out His divine life through you. He is only One who can.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 (NIV)
